Brahamani Public School, Kharagprasad is a symbol of progressive and quality education. Our motto, “We build the citizens of tomorrow” captures the essence of our spirit. I feel honored and privileged to be the principal of such an educational institution where every stakeholder is a learner. We look at ourselves as a community of learners, where everyone learns including our teachers, parents and staff.
If there is anything that can change the world, it is education and schools are the pillars of formal education. School is the foremost fountain of knowledge children are exposed to. We believe that school is a place where all children grow not just in size, not even in knowledge but in curiosity, courage, confidence, resourcefulness, patience, competence and understanding.
We believe in empowering our children in such a manner that they act as representatives of a meaningful and value-based society. And our holistic and comprehensive pedagogy complements this. We acknowledge that every child is unique and has his or her own temperament and learning style. So to deal with them individually, various kinds of apt strategies are administered in our school.
We also believe in experiential learning, where a child learns through experiences and participation which ultimately lead them experiencing greater gratification in learning. Knowing good moral values such as kindness, humility, optimism, honesty, compassion and many more builds a child’s character and our school aims to instill all these positive values and attributes among the children to enhance their moral sense. On the whole, our school aims to provide first-hand experiences which enable children to acquire concepts and skills which will help them to understand themselves and the world where they live.
